Massachusetts state auditor criticizes state’s special education collaboratives for mismanagement and misspending
In a series of audits, the Massachusetts Office of State Auditor concludes that the state’s special education collaboratives have misspent millions of taxpayer dollars, reports the Boston Globe. The audits found a pattern of excessive salaries, conflicts of interest, and possible pension law violations at six of the 30 publicly funded agencies.
