The Salt Lake Tribune reports that an administrator at Westridge Elementary School in Provo, Utah, confiscated a cancer awareness bracelet from a student that contained the message “I ♥ boobies” and was deemed too risque for the classroom.

According to the Associated Press reported in The Washington Post, the full U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit will weigh an eastern Pennsylvania school district’s efforts to ban breast-cancer fundraising bracelets that say “I ♥ boobies!”

According to the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, the American Civil Liberties Union has filed suit in federal court against Fort Wayne Community Schools after an assistant principal confiscated a female student’s “I ♥ boobies” bracelet.

Ohio district ordered to pay $20,000 in “Jesus is not a Homophobe” T-shirt suit

The Dayton Daily News reports that Wayne Local Schools (WLS) has been ordered to pay $20,000 in damages and court costs to a Maverick Couch, a student who was twice prevented from displaying the message “Jesus is not a Homophobe” on a T-shirt in school.
