The Birmingham Business Journal reports that the Alabama Education Association has filed a lawsuit to block a bill that would give a tax credit to parents of children at failing schools to offset the cost of attending private school or another public school.
Continue reading...The New Hampshire Union Leader reports that the ACLU, the New Hampshire chapter of the ACLU, and Americans United for Separation of Church and State have filed suit against New Hampshire’s Education Tax Credit system, the Republican-backed plan that issues tax credits to businesses that donate to scholarship funds used to pay tuition for students to attend private and religious schools.
